Our desire at Calvary Chapel Fontana is to please and glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To bring people into a loving intimate relationship with the Lord, to encourage one another through His love, and to grow and mature through the word of God. Our vision is to produce a healthy congregation that is characterized in both qualitative and quantitative growth, to transform people’s lives through a clear and honest presentation of God's word and to be an affective evangelistic body in our community, or where ever else the Lord desires.

Calvary Chapel Fontana has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have lead to the division of the Body of Christ.

We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love which is greater than any difference we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christian

Calvary Chapel Fontana started in January 1995 as a small group Spanish bible study headed by Jose Espinoza. Pastor Jose Espinoza was ordained in 2001 and began Calvary Chapel Hispano in the Fontana area. With the growth of the Spanish ministry a great need arose for the English speaking family members of the church. In November of 2005 Pastor Jose Espinoza envisioned starting an English speaking service. On August of 2006 Calvary Chapel Hispano became Calvary Chapel Fontana which now unifies both ministries into one body.
